Treatment Techniques:
From a young age, we are influenced by systems that shape who we are and how we experience life. Our families, cultures, and even the language we use each day play a role in how we see ourselves and the world around us. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, my role as a therapist is to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and foster genuine compassion for your unique human experience. Whether you are working through anxiety, depression, the effects of trauma, or challenges in relationships, I am here to walk alongside you. I hold the belief that, even in our hardest moments, we carry an inherent capacity to heal. My work is grounded in this belief and draws from relational, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed approaches.
My therapeutic style is rooted in empathy, curiosity, humor, respect, and genuine care. I view therapy as a collaborative relationship built on equality, one where you and I engage in a shared process of self-discovery and growth. I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is central to creating a safe space where you can be vulnerable, uncover meaning, resolve conflicts, recognize patterns, and search for answers. Together, we can reflect on past experiences and how they influence the present, so you have greater clarity in choosing your path forward.
I am continually inspired by the resilience clients show in the face of hardship, and by the strength and growth that emerge through the therapeutic process. Therapy is ultimately about knowing yourself more fully so you can recognize your own agency and actively shape your life. My hope is that clients leave sessions feeling seen, heard, and supported, as well as more empowered and confident in their next steps.
