Brainspotting Therapy for Trauma, Anxiety, ADHD, and Emotional Healing

At Aram Connection, we offer Brainspotting therapy as an innovative, brain-body approach to healing trauma, anxiety, ADHD, depression, grief, and other emotional challenges. Brainspotting helps access and process experiences that may be stored deep within the brain and nervous system, often beyond the reach of traditional talk therapy.

Developed by therapist David Grand, Brainspotting is based on the understanding that where you look affects how you feel. By identifying specific eye positions, known as “brainspots,” therapists can help clients access unresolved emotional experiences and facilitate the brain’s natural healing process.

Brainspotting is particularly effective for individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or continue to experience emotional distress despite understanding their challenges intellectually. Many clients report experiencing deeper emotional processing, increased self-awareness, and lasting relief from symptoms.

What to Expect During a Brainspotting Session

During a Brainspotting session, your therapist will help you identify a focal point connected to an emotion, thought, or physical sensation. While maintaining focus on that brainspot, you will be guided through a process that allows the brain and body to process unresolved experiences in a safe, supportive environment.
Unlike some traditional therapies, Brainspotting does not require you to extensively discuss traumatic events. Instead, it allows healing to occur at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable for you.
